Ben is a wonderful human being with patients, and knowledge. He by far, surpasses others in the industry! He has been so gracious with our two boys in their music endeavors. Not only does he provide mobile services (which, let's be honest ~ music lessons wouldn't happen in our crazy schedules without this luxurious service) he has knowledge about nearly every instrument. He approaches every lesson in a precise manner insuring foundations, such as music theory and form are JUST as important as the music being made. We'd recommend him a thousand times over. I had been meaning to get piano lessons for my oldest for a while and when I found Ben's ad on Yelp I sent him a message. He responded quickly and was able to fit us in at a time which worked perfectly for the both of us.
He is very patient with my daughter and she has shown so much improvement over such a short amount of time. I can't believe how quickly she is picking things up and enjoying playing. She constantly makes up new songs throughout the day, adding to them and seems genuinely interested in continuing. He even likes to help her create new music to keep her interested.
A much better experience than I had when I was younger. I am so glad we found Ben.

Ben has improved my ukulele playing way beyond my expectations in two months of lessons. He gives a lot of information and tips in his lessons and gives me plenty to practice and study (if I only would) for the next lesson. We originally chose Ben because of the good reviews and also because he was willing to come to our house for lessons, which is a huge convenience factor for us. Since then, my daughter has been taking lessons with Ben for about a year. She is doing so great- and has learned so much. When our friends hear her play they cannot believe she's only been taking lessons for a year. He's always really positive and encouraging and adapts the lesson to her learning style and music interests. Very early on he also started teaching her to play Für Elise, though it was beyond a new player's skill level but it's such a recognizable song she was really encouraged she could play parts and it helped boost her confidence early on. I'd recommend Ben to someone looking to start to play; he's great.- Shawna

Benjamin is an incredible music teacher. He has the patience of a saint! Not only is he a great person, he is an amazing instructor. He has taken both of my children ages 7 and 9 to an impressive level of piano in a few short months. He takes the time to explain music theory and has them master songs before moving on. An important aspect of his lessons is revisiting old songs to keep them fresh in their memory. Benjamin is passionate about music and sharing his knowledge. We are very lucky to have found him.

He employs a variety of teaching methods that best suits the needs of his students and while developing good habits. For example, how to read music and tab, how to properly hold a guitar, and how to play with a pick. He is very patient and recognizes that each student is unique and learns at their own pace. He is committed to his students and his love of music is infectious. I greatly appreciate the support and encouragement he has shown my Mother during her piano lessons at 90. Because of her Parkinson's, she has some physical and mental deficits that impede her progress, but for all that Benjamin joins in with a guitar accompaniment. I was looking for a new piano teacher for my boys, ages 7 and 11. I found Amazing Mobile Music on Groupon so decided to give it a try. Ben was great during our first lesson, so we hired him to continue instruction for the boys. He emphasizes good technique from the beginning, and incorporates elements of theory every step of the way so his students have a deeper understanding of what they're doing. Placing focus from the beginning on correct technique and breaking of bad habits was very important to me, so when I saw how well he managed this, I was very impressed. He comes to our house, which is an important convenience for us as well. He has at least 15 years of teaching experience so he has honed his own method of teaching to improve and expedite the process to promote both classical training and ability for future improvisation skills. He also teaches a variety of other instruments including guitar, mandolin, drum, bass, and ukulele, so we might add another instrument in the future once the piano skills are more advanced!- Kellie

Ben is hands down the best piano teacher my daughter has ever had. He faithfully comes to our home every week, on time and ready to teach. He is patient, extremely knowledgable and kind, and our daughter loves learning the piano because of who he is as a teacher.
He got to know her and what motivates her and teaches to her strengths and preferences, as well as holding her accountable to learn the essentials. It is not a "one size fits all" teaching method with Ben. He even takes the time to teach her life lessons.

My daughter has been getting lessons from Benjamin for a while now and she says Benjamin is a great teacher and he makes learning guitar fun! He makes sure that you are comfortable. He creates notes, he always makes sure you're holding your guitar properly and he holds you accountable. He also plays his guitar which makes it fun too! Ben has been teaching guitar to my son for the past few months and I must say that, it has been great so far. Ben teaches various techniques which I see no other previous guitar instructor has stressed upon earlier and they are must for guitarist in order to develop good habits from the start. He makes sure in every class that my son is playing the guitar with correct form and technique. He's good with kids and makes sure they are comfortable and understanding the instructions. I always tell my son to learn as much as possible from Ben, he's a good teacher and willing to share his knowledge.
